Description:

Every great invention begins with a problem. Unfortunately, some problems should probably be left alone. This is a brief history of JoséBots… and butt cracks.“Long before the smiles, the plumbing problems, and the mysterious arrival of 404, Pearl River knew a simpler time. JoséBot engineering was young, optimistic…and blissfully unaware of what was coming.”“The earliest JoséBots were remarkably efficient. They worked hard, caused little trouble, and were engineered without one particular feature. There were no butt cracks. At the time, nobody realized how important that was.”“Then came the roadside food. Years of questionable dietary decisions began taking their toll on José Original. His once-reliable internal systems were being asked to perform far beyond their original specifications.”“Soon, internal pressure began to rise. José Original remained outwardly calm, but inside, things were becoming increasingly complicated. Engineering had a problem.”“Without a proper relief valve, pressure will eventually find its own escape route. José discovered this basic law of engineering personally. Toilet paper helped—but only temporarily.”“And then…404 appeared. No announcement. No explanation. He simply emerged from the doorway, carrying no tools and offering only a small, unsettling smile. Nobody remembered building him.”“Not long afterward, the first documented JoséBot plumber’s crack appeared. It was small, unexplained, and previously unknown to JoséBot engineering. History had changed.”“The Bots immediately went to work. Their mission was simple: smooth out the crack. Unfortunately, JoséBot engineering was about to discover that some problems resist conventional solutions.”“The repair was unsuccessful. Worse, additional cracks began appearing. And then something even stranger happened. The JoséBots began to smile. Even more mysteriously…José Original’s eye stopped dripping.”
