We’re going to start from the very beginning, which will eventually make you an expert and an author! Hi class! I’m Leo! Today we are going to learn how to begin writing today!Let’s talk about paper first! We are going to start writing with handwriting paper. This helps us form our letters neatly and correctly!Do you see how my paper is turned? My name will go at the top and my writing will be below. The way this paper is turned is called “vertical.” This means the paper is tall and long. This next paper is turned in a way that is called “horizontal”. This means the paper is short and wide.It matters which way we turn our paper and which way we are writing. If we were to write on the paper incorrectly, it would confuse the person reading it!When we plan to write anything, we should put our name on our work. Usually, we will write our name on the top of our work, or where it asks for our name.We will also write the date we started our writing on our paper if it asks. This helps us know how long we have been working on a project or when it was completed. We will also write the date we started our writing on our paper if it asks.
