Welcome to the 2026 Liangyuan District Science and Technology Carnival, also serving as the regional science education center site observation and exchange meeting for primary and secondary school leading actions in Henan Province. This event, themed "Being a Secondary School – Creating the Future – Science and Technology Carnival Lights Up Science Dreams," is designed to foster scientific literacy and innovative thinking among students. It takes place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Shangqiu City Liangyuan District First Primary School. We've meticulously planned a day full of engaging activities to ignite a passion for science and technology. The carnival's morning session is packed with interactive experiences. From 8:20 to 8:50, we kick off with "Unlocking the Gates of Technology" at the school's main entrance, where guests will sign in and receive their handbooks. Following this, from 8:50 to 9:30, we delve into "Exploring the Joys of Technology" in the playground. Here, participants can engage in interactive science projects and hands-on experiments. Activities include catapults, air-powered archery, racing cars, water rockets, and model airplanes. These are designed to showcase fundamental scientific principles in an exciting way, allowing everyone to witness the power of air pressure, understand reaction forces, and experience the thrill of flight. From 9:30 to 10:10, we embark on a "Campus Tour: Appreciating the Beauty of Technology." This guided tour will highlight the scientific and technological achievements and installations across the campus, providing insights into our commitment to science education. This will be followed by an immersive experience from 10:10 to 10:50 at the "Science and Technology Museum on the Third Floor," where we have interactive exhibits like photo-electric layered display interactions and community displays featuring drones, graphic programming, robots, 3D printing, and intelligent farming. From 10:50 to 11:50, we'll gather for "Gathering Wisdom in Technology" at the Fourth Floor Lecture Hall for the opening ceremony and special reports. The afternoon, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, is dedicated to "Research and Innovation: The Alliance of Technology," featuring alliance school experience sharing and discussions. We encourage all participants to fully immerse themselves in these activities and explore new frontiers in science education.
