💧 REBEKAH AT THE WELL God Guides Your Steps and Writes Your Story 📖 Read the Story: Genesis 24:1-67 ❤️ Heart Need: Guidance • Relationships • Decisions • Waiting • Kindness • Faith • God's timing 📖 THE STORY Abraham sent his trusted servant to find a wife for Isaac from among his family. The servant knew the responsibility was great, so he prayed for God's guidance. At the well he asked God for a clear sign: the woman who offered him water and also volunteered to water his camels would be the one God had appointed. Before he had finished speaking, Rebekah came with her pitcher. She gave him water and willingly drew water for all the camels. The servant watched in wonder. God had led him directly to Abraham's family. Rebekah was asked whether she would go, and she answered, “I will go.” She later became Isaac's wife. "And she said, I will go." Genesis 24:58 KJV 💔 THE REAL PROBLEM Important decisions can make us anxious because we want to know God's will before we move. We may be tempted to force relationships, rush timing, ignore character, or choose only by outward appearance. Genesis 24 shows prayer, character, wise confirmation, family counsel, and willing obedience working together.🫵 THIS STORY MAY BE FOR YOU IF... You need God's direction about a relationship or major decision. You are tired of waiting and tempted to force something to happen. You wonder whether God sees the details of your future. You want to become the kind of person who is ready when opportunity arrives. 🪞 WHERE ARE YOU IN THE STORY? Maybe you are like Abraham's servant, asking God for direction. Maybe you are like Rebekah, faithfully doing ordinary work without realizing that a life-changing moment is near. Maybe you are like Isaac, waiting while God is working somewhere you cannot see. Which part of the story feels most like your life today? 👀 LOOK FOR GOD God's guidance appeared in ordinary circumstances: a journey, a well, a pitcher, kindness, conversation, and willing hearts. The servant prayed, watched carefully, and gave God glory when the way became clear. "I being in the way, the LORD led me..." Genesis 24:27 KJV 🙌 WHAT DID GOD DO? God guided the servant to the right place at the right time. He had prepared Rebekah, provided confirmation, and brought Isaac and Rebekah together. God's providence did not remove human choices. Rebekah still had to answer, “I will go.” "The thing proceedeth from the LORD..."Genesis 24:50 KJV ❤️ WHAT DOES GOD WANT YOU TO SEE? God cares about the direction of your life, but His guidance is not an excuse to ignore wisdom, Scripture, character, or consent. Often God's preparation happens quietly before we recognize it. Faithfulness in today's ordinary responsibilities may be preparing you for tomorrow's opportunity. ✝️ FOLLOW THE TRUTH TO JESUS Genesis 24 is a beautiful story of guidance and marriage, but our deepest need is greater than finding the right earthly relationship. Jesus calls us first into relationship with Himself. He is the faithful Bridegroom who loved the church and gave Himself for it. Before asking God to write our plans exactly as we imagine them, we can surrender our whole story to Christ and ask Him to make us faithful followers. "Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it." Ephesians 5:25 KJV 🚪 THE CHOICE IS YOURS You can rush ahead - or pray and seek wisdom. You can choose only by appearance - or value godly character. You can stay where fear keeps you - or say yes when God clearly leads. You can try to control every detail - or entrust your future to Him. You can make romance the center of your life - or make Jesus the center. The choice is yours. 🕊️ REST HERE You do not have to know every chapter before living today's page. Pray. Walk wisely. Be kind. Stay faithful. Let God handle what you cannot arrange. If a door is truly from Him, you do not need manipulation to make it happen. "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Psalm 37:5 KJV 💎 TAKE THIS WITH YOU God is still leading. God is still preparing. Be faithful where you are, seek His wisdom, and be ready to say yes when His path becomes clear. 🙏 TALK TO GOD Dear Jesus, thank You that You see the whole road while I can only see today. Guide my decisions and relationships according to Your Word and wisdom. Keep me from rushing, forcing, or settling for what is not right. Build kindness, faithfulness, patience, and courage in me. Help me recognize Your leading and willingly obey when You make the path clear.Above every earthly relationship, keep my heart centered on You. In Jesus' name, Amen. ❤️ Different story. Different problem. Same faithful God.
