ColorCode Diet - PDF to Flipbook

Description:

Unlike normal reduced carbohydrate diets, the ColorCode diet allows for carbohydrate meals 3 days a week AND high sugar foods 1 day a week. This is a great help against mental and physical cravings for carbohydrates and sugars during the diet. Foods are in 3 simple categories (green, yellow, red) and different days allow for different color code types (see 'The Diet' in the main menu). From previous dieters the duration of the diet to lose 3 stones (42 pounds) was 6 weeks but people are overweight by vastly different amounts so your goal weight will take more (or less) than this according to how much you want to lose. When your desired weight is achieved it is strongly advised that you continue to keep sensible control over your carbohydrate and sugar intake (see 'After Diet' in the main menu). Welcome to the truth about what food causes weight gain Hello, You have found the REAL reason as to why so many people are overwieght even to obese levels never before known in history. You may have some doubts that this diet is the final answer to your weight problem, and you might think this is just another scam and the refund option is your way out. Well relax - and rest assured that this diet WILL work and is NOT hard to complete. From about 2 weeks into the diet you will be losing weight perhaps like you never thought you could because the true cause of your weight problem is being repaired. You are going to enjoy food in its NATURAL fat, calorie and flavor levels the correct way and lose weight correctly and quickly ! After the diet (or should I say after you are the weight you want to be !) you can eat all kinds of food daily BUT .... as a daily lifestyle you should still be careful with carbohydrate quantities (similar to the 'Yellow Code' days) and consume milk and 'Red Code' foods with control. How many diets have you tried ? Most people with a weight problem have already tried (and failed) all kinds of other diets, probably from a young age. Low fat diets The 'experts' declare that Nature got the fat quantities wrong. Consider how Nature has perfected the variety, flavour, and texture of all the foods we eat so believe me that Nature did NOT get the fat levels wrong ! Watch any great cook prepare their food and they ALWAYS use the full Natural levels of fats to provide that perfect flavor. This diet is going to prove that Nature supplies harmless and delicious fat levels in all its foods. Low calorie diets Calorie levels suggest that Nature put all the rich foods in the 'do not eat' section, and all the less attractive food in the 'can eat' section. Nature is not a cruel system that supplies delicious rich foods and then punishes you for eating them ! This diet will prove that Calorie levels are irrelevant by allowing you to eat the richest of foods every day and still lose excess weight quickly. Lets get real ! Nearly everyone with a weight problem is now eating low fat everything. Their weight is still too high and more and more people are getting obese. Therefore low fat is obviously NOT the cure, and fat was not the problem. Nearly everyone with a weight problem eats far more carbohydrate food than any other kind of food and the yellow table in the 'diet tables' menu will prove it. Therefore carbohydrates are the reason for weight gain because fats are now absent from most diets and proteins do not put on weight. Ever noticed the fat animals of the world all eat vegetation and the skinny animals eat protein ? DONT WORRY ABOUT THE FAT IN FOOD - CARBOHYDRATES ARE THE PROBLEM See the yellow code foods in the 'diet tables' menu section. Carbohydrates become glycogen in the body which is a form of SUGAR ! Carbohydrates are used for energy before fats so while there is glycogen in supply the fats will not get used. Therefore any fat from food is going to increase in the body store and NOT getting used no matter how low fat the meal. The more you eat carbohydrate foods the more you crave them. The more you crave them the more you eat them. This is the vicious cycle that is spinning so many people into obesity. The glycogen sugar from the usually large quantities of carbohydrates gives your blood 'sugar surges' and then 'sugar lows' that frequently cause depressions and headaches. It is the 'sugar lows' that make you crave to eat more carbohydrates to restore the sugar levels to the blood. The glycogen sugar from the large amount of carbohydrates eaten these days give your pancreas a seriously hard time that is more and more leading to diabetes. You now know why most newly diagnosed diabetics are overweight people. Carbohydrates are like a food drug that have caused endless obesity and misery since the world has been able to eat them in uncontrolled amounts. Artificial Sweeteners May Cause Weight Gain 8/25/2008 - (NaturalNews) Regular consumption of artificial, low-calorie sweeteners may actually cause people to gain more weight than similar consumption of sugar, according to a study conducted by researchers from Purdue University and published in the journal... Are fats or carbohydrates to blame for being overweight ? 1) Sugar energy is used by the body BEFORE fats as it is quickly transformed to energy and body heat. 2) There are four main sugar types a) (glycogen / glucose) carbohydrate sugar b) (sucrose) normal cane sugar c) (fructose) fruit sugar d) (lactose) milk sugar 3) Carbohydrates supply abundant energy called starches that the body converts to glycogen (a sugar energy). 4) A large amount of unused glycogen is stored in the liver for use when required. 5) The more carbohydrates you eat the more carbohydrates you will want. 6) Carbohydrates make you hungry again faster than proteins or fats. 7) While any of the main sugar groups are available as energy, fats from food go into storage in the body. 8) When sugars are not available the body burns the stored fats for energy (ketosis). The ColorCode Diet puts meals into 3 types of sugar codes Green Code Meals low glycogen low sucrose low fructose low lactose Yellow Code Meals high glycogen low sucrose low fructose low lactose Red Code Meals high glycogen high sucrose high fructose high lactose Monday Low sugar foods only today including up to 20g of vegetable carbohydrates (see green table in the 'color tables' menu for examples) Tuesday Low sugar foods only today including up to 20g of vegetable carbohydrates (see green table in the 'color tables' menu for examples) Wednesday 1 High Carbohydrate Main Meal allowed - along with normal green day meals (see yellow table in the 'color tables' menu) Thursday Low sugar foods only today including up to 20g of vegetable carbohydrates (see green table in the 'color tables' menu for examples) Friday Low sugar foods only today including up to 20g of vegetable carbohydratess (see green table in the 'color tables' menu for examples) Saturday 1 Anything Main Meal allowed (max 2 hrs) - along with normal green day meals (see red table in the 'color table' menu for examples) Sunday 1 High Carbohydrate Main Meal allowed - along with normal green day meals (see yellow table in the 'color tables' menu) ColorCode Rules Green days no high sugar foods (carbs / fruits / milks / sweeteners) unlimited 'green code' food each day except for vegetables vegetables should be limited to 20g of carbohydrates each day 1/2 of a banana OR 1 Pear can be used once a day maybe to thicken one of the 'milk free' shakes NOTE: If you do NOT use the 1/2 Banana OR 1 Pear you could use up to 1/2 cup of any milk instead, perhaps for coffees and teas Yellow days include 1 'high carbohydrate' (yellow code) meal still keeping sugars low make sure the 'high carbohydrate' food is consumed within 1 meal all other food to be the same as on a 'green code' day Red days include 1 'anything you want' (red or yellow code) meal with no limits on sugars make sure the 'anything you want' food is consumed within 1 meal all other food to be the same as on a 'green code' day As a summary you are trying to 1) you should minimise sugars AND carbohydrates on green days 2) you should minimise sugars on yellow days NOTE: the sooner your carbs and sugars are used up, the sooner you will burn stored body fat (known as ketosis) Green Code Food Rules UNLIMITED Green Code foods ANY DAY except for the limited vegetables Limited Vegetables Rules Do not exceed 20g of vegetable carbs each Green Day (see green color table) NOTE: Add up the carbs using the vegetable's blue 'Carbs(g)' column Vegetables have various amounts of sugar and carbs so the daily allowance will be different for each type ... 8 cups of lettuce = 18.4 grams of carbs (in the blue 'Carbs(g)' column) 2 cups of sprouts = 15.8 grams of carbs 3 cups of spinach = 3.6 grams of carbs Mix and match vegetables up to 20g CARBS total each day Example Daily Vegetables Allowance 1 cup of lettuce = 2.3g carbs 1 cup of broccoli = 6.0g carbs 1/2 cup of sprouts = 3.95g carbs 1 cup cabbage = 5.2g carbs Total = 17.45g carbs (correctly under the 20g limit) The less vegetables eaten the sooner your body fat is used for fuel NOTE : If you do NOT use the permitted 1/2 Banana OR medium Pear each day (usually to thicken shakes) you could have up to 1/2 cup of milk (any type) for coffees and teas instead Yellow Code Food Rules No Yellow Code foods except during a Yellow Day (or Red Day) main meal Red Code Food Rules No Red Code high sugar foods except during a Red Day sugar binge meal lasting no longer than 2 hours Only eat fruit and fruit juices during a Red Day sugar binge meal, the exception being 1/2 of a Banana OR 1 medium Pear that can be used once every day (for example to thicken a a milk-free shake) (see 'Meals' section) No Milk except during a Red Day sugar binge meal ...
