What does this mean for us?Our IT infrastructure must be ready for tomorrow's needs, supporting students, teachers, and the workforce. We're strategizing for flexibility and critical decisions.In our IT discussions, we employ a thorough methodology, including full committee discussions and sub-committee reports. It's about working together effectively.We recommend continuous development for our Security Operations Center and stronger collaboration with the NDIT Department. We're aiming for improved capabilities and a more secure state network.Effective IT planning is key. We need to integrate IT infrastructure into our 10-year master plan and support new ERP systems for better capabilities.We are committed to leveraging AI and Machine Learning to support students and improve services. Our goal is to enhance data governance and intelligence across all NDUS institutions.We see significant overlap between IT and Physical Infrastructure. This includes deferred maintenance, service consolidation, and integrating technology into physical spaces.Physical infrastructure requires continuous monitoring and creating safe spaces for everyone. We're focused on utilizing campus master plans and preserving historic sites.
