Description:

Welcome to Blue Tree Adventures, Episode 2, focusing on "Safe School, Safe Kids." We believe that safety is paramount, and it's something we all need to understand and practice every day. In this series, we learn how to become Safety Heroes. We understand that children can sometimes feel worried or afraid, and it's important to know what to do when these feelings arise. Problems at home or school can be difficult to talk about, but remember, you don't have to keep everything inside. We want you to know that it's okay to talk, and there are people who care and want to help you. You are not alone in your feelings or your experiences. It's completely normal to have different feelings, and all feelings are okay. Whether you're feeling sad when you miss someone or when something is hard, scared when you feel unsafe or unwelcome, angry when something is unfair or frustrating, ashamed when you think you've made a mistake, or stressed when you feel you have too much to do or worry about, your feelings matter. It's okay to talk about how you feel. We encourage you to talk to someone you trust, ask for help, take a deep breath and calm down. Remember, you are brave, and you are not alone. If something makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or afraid, it's crucial to talk to someone you trust. There are many trusted adults who can help you, including teachers, parents or caregivers, police officers, counselors, and family members. Teachers are there to listen and help, and they care about your safety and well-being. Parents and caregivers love you and want to help you talk about anything. Police officers protect our community and help keep you safe. Counselors help you understand your feelings and find solutions. Family members are there for your support and happiness. Remember, you are important, you are not alone, and it's vital to talk about it, reach out, ask for help, stay safe, and know that you matter. Together, we can keep our school and community safe for everyone. Bullying can hurt in many ways. It can happen at school, at home, or online. Words can hurt, through teasing, name-calling, or saying mean things. Excluding others can make someone feel lonely and unwanted. Online bullying, or cyberbullying, involves mean messages, rumors, or threats online that can be very upsetting and hurtful. Scaring someone hurts through threats, pushing, or making someone afraid. If you are being bullied, it is not your fault. We urge you to talk to someone you trust, reach out, and remember to be kind and brave, and to take care of each other. Everyone deserves to be included and cared for, and it's never okay to be mean online. Being brave doesn't always mean solving a problem alone. Sometimes being brave means asking for help. If something is bothering you, it's okay to ask for help. Here's how: first, acknowledge that something is bothering you and you feel sad and overwhelmed. Second, decide to get help. Third, talk to someone you trust and say, "I need help. Can you help me?" Fourth, they will listen and help you, and you can work together to let's work together. Finally, you will feel better and stronger. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Brave hearts build safe schools and strong communities. We're proud to share that Blue Tree School, in collaboration with Kathu Police Station, Satree Phuket School Parent Network, and the Phuket Provincial Education Office, is actively working to ensure the safety and well-being of our children. Blue Tree School organizes fun and engaging safety activities. Kathu Police Station protects our community and teaches children how to stay safe in different situations. Satree Phuket School Parent Network ensures parents and caregivers work with us to communicate safety and well-being. The Phuket Provincial Education Office supports and oversees safety education and safety for all schools in Phuket Province. Together, we teach, and together, we keep our children safe. We also learn the "Run, Hide, Fight" safety rule. If there is danger, remember: Run if you can safely get away, Hide if you cannot run, and Fight only as a last resort. When you are safe, tell a trusted adult or a police officer as soon as possible. We practice running, hiding, and strong moves to protect yourself, and we share how we feel and ask questions. We learned, we practiced. We know what to do. We work together to keep our school and community safe. Blue Tree creates fun and engaging lessons about safety, kindness, and well-being. Phuket Women's School provides a safe and caring environment where students learn and grow. Kathu Police Station protects our community and teaches children how to stay safe. Our Parent Network supports and works with the community for the safety and happiness of our children. We are making a difference with 60 participating students learning what children learn: to stay calm, listen to adults, move to a safe area, ask for help, and help others. When we learn together, we stay together. When we care for each other, we build a stronger, happier community.
