CoNEXT 2025 - Site proposal BANGKOK, THAILAND CoNEXT 2025 @ Bangkok A Vibrant Southeast Asian Hub Proposed dates: ● Mon 8 - Thu 11 Dec 2025 (with workshops on the 11th). Easy reach, vibrant place: ● From outside: 2 major airports (Bangkok Suwannaphum airport, Don Muang airport) ● From within: Bangkok Metro system, so that any venue is close to hotels and restaurants. ● Social event: Bangkok street food is ranked one of the top in the world. A social evening with some Michelin-starred food stalls, cultural performances and music can be arranged. Possible venue of the social event can be at the Museum Siam https://www.museumsiam.org/ where participants can be guided to take the metro to the venue within 30 mins. ● Catering. Hotel package provides high quality coffee breaks and lunch during the conferenceConference venues: ● Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit (https://www.carltonhotel.co.th/) or other hotels within the same price range and in close proximity. This hotel has been chosen for Internet related conferences for the past 5 years, for example, the annual Bangkok Peering Forum (https://peeringforum.bknix.co.th/). Conference room can accommodate 250 people. Buffet lunch catering by the hotel. Plenty of choices of small hotels nearby for attendees as well. More than 300 rooms around the conference hotel can easily be found. Volunteers: The group in the Department at Kasetsart University, ThaiREN and interLab@AIT have about 10 researchers and 10 staff members that could complete the local arrangements team.
