1Think Chapter 1 — The Echoes of What Was
Hey... it's me again — The Invisible Boy.
I know what you’re thinking — what happened after the last chapter? Did Biru and I talk again?
Did things go back to normal? Did life magically fix itself like those cliché movie endings?
If you're expecting a happy ending... well, life doesn’t always work that way. Some people don’t
leave with a dramatic goodbye; they just... fade away. Like smoke blending into the air — you
know they were there, you can feel their presence, but you can’t see them anymore.
This is part two of my story — but this time, it’s different. Because now... I’m slowly turning back
into the person I used to be before Biru came into my life — quiet, introverted, and distant. Sure, I
talk to people... sometimes I even crack jokes. But deep down? I’m back to silently observing
everything, just like before.
What’s coming next... well, that’s where things get interesting. It’s a bit weird, a little funny, and
maybe even emotional. But one thing’s certain — this time, I’m becoming that same old Abhi
again... the one people used to whisper about —
"Doesn’t he seem a bit... detached?"

2Morning. Same irritating alarm tone I’ve been ignoring for the past two months. I barely opened
my eyes and squinted at my phone screen — 07:53 AM. The first thought that hit me — ‘Why do I
always set my alarm for 7:53 instead of 8?’
Same routine. One hand rubbing my eyes, the other unlocking my phone. WhatsApp. Biru's chat?
Long gone from the top of my list. Sometimes I have to scroll down just to find her name — and
honestly, that 'online' tag? It doesn’t hit the same anymore.
A few messages are waiting — someone’s "Good Morning," a couple of random memes... but the
only message I actually open is the one that says:
"Battery low, please charge your phone."
3Chapter 2 — The Noise in the Silence
Hey... it's me again —
Last time, I told you how things were different now. How I was slowly turning back into the person
I used to be. You probably thought, "Okay, so he’s moving on."
I wish it were that simple.
Moving on isn’t always about forgetting. Sometimes, it’s just about getting used to the silence.
And let me tell you, silence is loud.

07:53 AM — Again
Same alarm, same half-hearted attempt to wake up, and the same question in my head— Why
7:53? Seriously, who even sets their alarm like that?
I checked my phone. No unread messages from Biru. Not that I was expecting one.
I scrolled down, found her name buried somewhere in the chat list, and for a second—just a
second—I hovered over it. But then I locked my phone. Pointless.
4You ever notice how old habits die slow? Like checking for notifications from someone who
doesn’t text anymore. Or instinctively looking at the last bench in class, expecting them to be
there.
Yeah. That kind of thing.

10:30 AM — The Classroom
The teacher was explaining something about history. Or maybe economics. I wasn’t really
listening.
I used to sit in the middle row, remember? But now, I prefer the back. It’s quieter there. Easier to
think.
Someone cracked a joke. The whole class laughed. For a split second, I almost turned
around—almost joined in. But then I stopped myself.
Old Abhi would’ve reacted. This Abhi? He just observed.
Biru used to say, "Tere expressions sab bata dete hain."
Funny, isn’t it? These days, my face doesn’t say much at all.

2:17 PM — The Corridor
You know that weird feeling when you hear someone laugh, and for a second, you think it’s
them?
Yeah. That happened.
I was walking down the corridor when I heard it—that laugh. Same tone, same rhythm. My brain
reacted before I could stop it. My head turned, my heart skipped, and—
It wasn’t her. Just someone else with a similar laugh.
You ever get that split-second disappointment? Like when you wave at someone, but they wave
at the person behind you?
Yeah. That.
---
10:39 PM — The Invisible Message
6It’s late. I should sleep.
But instead, I opened WhatsApp. Scrolled down again. Found her name again. Opened the chat
again.
Typed something. Deleted it.
Typed again. Deleted again.
You ever write a message you know you’ll never send? Just to feel like you said something?
I do that a lot these days.
So yeah. If you’re wondering whether things are back to normal—
The answer is no.
But I guess this is my new normal now.
