ABOUT THE INSTITUTION & DEPARTMENT About the College: Nazareth Margoschis College at Pillaiyanmanai is a co-educational institution that offers a diverse range of programs in Arts, Science and Commerce. Named in honor of the revered S.P.G. Missionary Rev. Canon Arthur Margoschis, the college is strategically located in a rural setting, ensuring convenient access for the youth from the southern villages of Thoothukudi District. Under the governance of the Thoothukudi-Nazareth Diocesan, the college functions as the educational arm of the Thoothukudi-Nazareth Diocese of the Church of South India. The institution provides a spectrum of academic offerings, encompassing nine undergraduate courses and five postgraduate courses in Mathematics (Aided), History, English, Chemistry, and Commerce. About the Department: The Department of Chemistry was established in 1978, with the commencement of the M.Sc. Chemistry program in 2001.
