This event is a significant undertaking, meticulously planned to foster a deep sense of patriotism and appreciation for our nation among students and teachers. Our primary objective is to instill "Cintakan Negara Dan Bangsa" – love for our country and nation – commemorating our historical journey and honoring the figures who tirelessly worked to preserve our homeland. By participating, students and educators are encouraged to cultivate a strong spirit of patriotism and ignite feelings of pride and independence. We aim to provide a creative space for students, allowing them to express their ingenuity throughout the campaign. Furthermore, we seek to educate participants about the contributions of our national heroes and heroines, reinforcing the importance of their sacrifices. The celebration also endeavors to embed values of unity and solidarity across all races and cultures within our community. This comprehensive program is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, commencing at 11:00 AM at Dewan SK Segambut. The ceremony will be officiated by Pn. Che Siti Wan Kemala binti W. Ismail, the esteemed Headmistress of SK Segambut, ensuring a dignified and memorable occasion for everyone involved. The event promises a rich array of activities, including the singing of national and regional patriotic songs, a collective recitation of prayers, and welcoming speeches from both the master of ceremonies and the Headmistress. A highlight will be the "Laungan Merdeka" – the chant of independence – followed by various performances that celebrate our heritage. The program will conclude with a medley of past independence-themed songs, bringing the celebration to a heartfelt close.
