Description:

Good morning, everyone - respected principal, teachers, and students - and welcome to our broadcast. I'm Maya, and with me is Omar.
Today we're talking about something every school needs: 'A School Without Bullying.'
Every student deserves to feel safe, respected, and happy at school.
Our words and actions can make someone smile - or make someone cry. So let's learn how to spread kindness and put an end to bullying.
In the original morning broadcast, this is also where a student shares a verse from the Holy Quran about kindness and good treatment of others.
We'll keep that message in mind as we start with a simple question: what is bullying?
Bullying is when someone repeatedly hurts another person on purpose. It can happen through words, actions, or even online messages.
It can take different forms. Physical bullying is hitting, pushing, or hurting someone. Verbal bullying is calling people hurtful names or making fun of them.
Social bullying is leaving someone out on purpose or encouraging others not to be their friends. Cyberbullying is sending mean messages or posting hurtful comments online.
Remember: a joke is not funny if someone gets hurt.
With that clear picture, let's test our knowledge with a quick quiz.Is laughing at someone's mistakes a kind thing to do?
Should we make fun of someone because they look different?
What should we do if we see someone being bullied?
And is it brave to ask a teacher for help?
Pause for a moment and think about your answers.
The right answer is simple: we should respect everyone, stand up for what is right, and never stay silent when someone needs help.
That brings us to three golden rules we can all remember.Rule one: be kind. Think before you speak - your words matter.
Rule two: be brave. If you see bullying, don't join in. Help the person and tell a trusted adult.
Rule three: be a friend. Include others, share, and treat everyone with respect.
And asking a teacher for help is not telling tales. It is the right thing to do when someone is being hurt.
Those rules are simple, but they're powerful. Here's how we can turn them into a promise. We promise to be kind and respectful.
We promise to use words that make others happy - and to never hurt or bully anyone.
We promise to stand up for those who need help.
We promise to include everyone and celebrate our differences.
We promise to make our school a safe and happy place.
Together, we can say: 'We are stronger together. We choose kindness. We say no to bullying!'
Always remember that being popular is not as important as being kind.
You don't need to be a superhero to make a difference. Sometimes one kind word, one friendly smile, or one helping hand is enough.
So let's make every day a kindness day.
Let's make Tiba International School a place where everyone belongs.
Thank you for listening - and have a wonderful day!
