Description:
In a small corner of the hospital, there was a little girl named Dum who
fought against a serious illness day after day. Orphaned at a young age,
Dum's world seemed confined to the hospital room. One afternoon, a
doctor brought Dum a cute pink plush bunny as a gift. The pink bunny lay
quietly in Dum's arms, listening to stories that only the two of them knew.
The night slowly fell, casting a vast silence over the hospital room. The
pain came again, preventing Dum from falling asleep. Dum could only
hold the pink rabbit tightly, hoping the long night would pass quickly.
Then, in that warm embrace, Dum gradually drifted off to sleep.
In the dark corner, Dum sat quietly, occasionally sobbing out of self-pity.
Suddenly, a little pink figure appeared beside her. The pink rabbit gently
stroked Dum's head, as if wanting to give her a very tender hug.
The pink rabbit led Dum to a door situated in the midst of a strange
space. From the other side, golden sunlight gently spilled out, carrying a
faint fragrance of flowers. Dum had never seen a place like this before,
and Dum was eager to know what was waiting beyond the door.
In the land bathed in golden sunlight, clusters of roses vied to show off their
colors on the green grass. Dum and the pink rabbit nestled together, watching
the clouds drift lazily through the canopy of leaves. The sunlight gently dried
their hair, while the breeze softly brushed their cheeks. Perhaps happiness is
sometimes as simple as doing the things one has always dreamed of.
The door behind Dum gradually dissolved into flower petals, drifting with
the wind toward the horizon. Dum still held the pink rabbit's hand, happily
running through the warm sunshine. The little girl no longer felt pain, no
longer had to wait for the days when she could leave the hospital bed.
In a distant place, the small bed remained. The pink rabbit lay still on the
white pillow, beside the window where the sun often visited. Perhaps
Dum had found the summer she had always longed for. It's just a pity
that summer had no way back.
"Sometimes, the things we consider ordinary are actually someone else's extravagant dream. A morning to wake up, an afternoon to play in
the sun, a day to carefreely think about tomorrow. Dum once longed for those simple things, and she found them in a distant dreamland.
Perhaps happiness does not lie in grand things, but in the opportunity to live, to be loved, and to write the days of childhood ourselves. Please
do not wait until something becomes a memory to realize how precious it truly is."
