He was the first to develop a cyclical printing press. This idea revolutionized the Western world. It inspired many other innovations. It also created the "technical" conditions for the Reformation of the Church. The first book printed on this press was the Bible, the so-called Gutenberg's Bible. Immanuel Kant (1724-1804). A renowned German philosopher: The existence of the Bible, as a book for people, is the greatest gain that humanity could ever experience. Any attempt to diminish its significance is a criminal act against humanity. Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727). Mathematician and philosopher. Pioneer in developing the laws of gravity and discoverer of so many phenomena that it would take a dozen pages to briefly describe them. There are reasons to assert that he devoted more time to learning God's truth than to scientific studies. To the consternation of many modern scholars, he wrote more theological books related to the Bible than scientific ones. Nevertheless, or perhaps precisely because of this, he was one of the greatest scientists. He expressed, among other things: I acknowledge the Word of God as the most sublime philosophy. "I find more authenticity in the Bible than in any historical, secular work." Blaise Pascal (1623-1662). Recognized as a pioneer in the science of hydrostatics. He also contributed to the development of the laws of hydrodynamics and the construction of the barometer. Here is a brief excerpt from many reflections: "We know life and death only through Christ. Apart from Christ, we know neither what our life is, nor death, nor God, nor ourselves. Thus, without Scripture, which has Christ as its sole subject, 4 We know nothing and see only darkness and confusion in the nature of God and in our own nature." John Locke (1632-1704). An English philosopher whose philosophical works and arguments had a very significant influence on the thinking and decisions of the founders of America, as well as on the final form of the American Constitution. In his treatises on the constitution, the state, and the citizen, he cites the Bible in over eighty instances as the source of his conclusions. Among others, Thomas Jefferson was greatly inspired by the wisdom of John Locke. Here is one of Locke's observations: "Humanity must establish laws in accordance with the general law of the nature surrounding us, and in such a way that they are not in contradiction with the Word of God. Otherwise, human laws will become a mistake." James McHenry (1753-1816). A physician by training, one of the signers of the U.S. Constitution and co-founder of the West Point Military Academy in the USA, said: "Our labor is in vain without the Bible. We devise increasingly severe legal regulations and fortify our institutions with them. The Bible is the best bulwark. Where it is abundantly presented, people find no pleasure in evil deeds, and at the same time find joy in their harmonious, untorn consciousness. Also note that the rich are as rich as their wealth derives from the Bible, and that there is nothing more valuable with which they could endow the poor. Do not withhold it from the poor. This book is a manual and guide suitable for every situation in which a person may find themselves. It is God's revelation of heaven and the mystery of His will toward mortals." Noah Webster (1758-1843). A teacher, statesman, lexicographer, author of the first edition of the most popular dictionary of the English language in the USA to this day, Webster's Dictionary. In 1828, after 26 years of work, for the first time in the history of the English language, he published a dictionary containing 70,000 entries and 12,000 new definitions. Under the entry Faith we find the following definition: - Having been justified by faith (Rom. ch. 5). Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. ch. 11). - We look not at what is seen, but at what is unseen (2 Cor. ch. 4). For with the heart faith is received leading to justification (Rom. ch. 10). 5 Because your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world (Romans, chapter 1). - Whatever you believe, keep it to yourself before God (Romans, chapter 14). Under the heading Property we find a definition; "The exclusive right to possess, experiencing joy in disposing of a thing as one's own. At the beginning of the world's existence, the Creator gave man the right of dominion over the earth, over the fish of the sea, the birds, and over every creature. This divine decree is the foundation upon which man's right to property on earth should be based. Everything connected with the invention and production of any thing authorizes man to the title of property... And it is the highest blessing for society, for in this way the citizens' right to property is well secured." In 1833, Noah Webster also prepared and published a Bible. In the preface he wrote: "The Bible is the chief moral center of everything good and the best point of reference in distinguishing between what is evil in society. The best book for regulating the temporal affairs of man and the only book that can serve as an infallible guide to a successful outcome. It is extremely important for our country, both in the political aspect and in spiritual life, that full authority flows from the wisdom of God's Word, for only this can best serve the main principles of citizens' liberty and be the most effective support of the government of our republic. The main principles of civil liberty and wise administrative laws should be drawn from the Bible and supported by its authority. Thus, a man who diminishes or destroys the divine authority of this book may be a contributor to public disorder in society, when such is experienced. If we observe the foundations taught by the Bible, our country will prosper and endure in well-being; but if we or our descendants neglect to learn the truth and disregard the authority of the Bible, it is impossible to predict when and how quickly catastrophe may reach and bury all our glory in a deep, forgotten grave. There are only two powers that control man and secure the rights of the individual and the administration of governance - the law of God or the law of fear of the bayonet." William James (1842-1910). Philosopher, psychologist. He was the author of an ethical theory called pragmatism. The reflection of his philosophical and psychological inquiries may be his motto: "If you only repeat something often enough, people will believe any absurdity." As for the Bible,
