We offer extensive access to information resources, ensuring that every reader can find what they need, as underscored by S.R. Ranganathan's Five Laws of Library Science. These foundational principles guide our mission: "Books are for use," "Every reader his/her book," "Every book its reader," "Save the time of the reader," and "A library is a growing organism." These laws highlight our commitment to accessibility, utility, and the continuous evolution of our services. Our library is centrally located on the ground floor, providing an excellent and pleasant ambiance for study and research. We emphasize ease of access to library and information services, with hours appropriate to the needs of our readers. We provide a wide choice of documents, offering a range of print and digital materials suitable for all sections of our diverse readership. Our information services include campus-wide bibliographical and referral services, available to all readers around the clock. In terms of technology, we integrate current innovations like mobile apps to extend the library’s services outside its physical borders, facilitating interaction with patrons. Our dedicated and efficient staff provides client-oriented services with utmost professionalism and confidence. We encourage all users to help us serve them better by taking care of library materials and returning them promptly. Our helpful staff, trained in library science, are committed to treating you with courtesy and providing specialist advice from qualified professionals, ensuring a fair and impartial service experience for everyone. The library also plays a crucial role in the college's educational process. Established in 2009, our collection has grown significantly to 2821 books, including a substantial number of textbooks and reference materials. We are proud to house 15695 Reading Material Collection, which includes 12916 Ayurvedic Books, 12916 Modern Books, 2781 Other Books, and 486 print and online journals/magazines. We also provide a MUHS Book Bank facility for economically backward students and offer SC Book Bank for SC students, ensuring access to essential learning materials. All reading materials, including books, periodicals, and non-print materials like CDs, are available within the library. We provide an Online Public Access Catalogue facility to all readers for easy navigation and resource discovery.
